Situations where a PARTIAL REBATE applies:
GP chronic condition management plan (GPCCMP) – allied health Medicare Item No. 10956 Mental Health Worker. $61.80 rebate for up to 5 sessions. Discuss with your GP. Please note: This is NOT the Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
Referrals from GPs or Psychiatrists: please forward to janine@janinemax.com
Collaborative care is preferred, with your GP and/or psychiatrist, if there are diagnoses of severe mental illness. Acute substance abuse or eating disorders are not within my scope of practice.
Private health funds: Medibank, ahm, BUPA, HCF, Police Health Fund, Doctors Health Fund, Saint Luke’s Health Fund, Phoenix Health, Grand United, Emergency Services Health. Check with your fund regarding cover for counselling services.
Counselling fee is FULLY COVERED in these situations:
Victims of Crime – if you have experienced domestic violence, childhood or adult sexual abuse/assault, or any other violent crime, apply to Victims Services as you may be eligible for up to 22 free counselling sessions. I am an approved Victims Services Counsellor.
NDIS – If your plan has a budget for Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living Therapy Supports you may have counselling sessions covered by NDIS.
A late cancellation fee applies to no-shows or if less than 24hrs notice given.
